Decent food served in a shambolic way in a room with no atmosphere with unhelpful staff speaking next to no english

Went here for takeaway food excellent value nd best by far in newcastle at night had a mixed kebab wrap which was delicious and the hand cut chips best ive ever had nd i love my chips

I passed by a few times before finally choosing Kebab. I ordered a mix of chicken and lamb, which was piled high on my plate. The meat was delicious, although I made a bit of a mess on my shirt while eating! The salad seemed a bit wilted, but overall it was just an okay meal.

We decided to try something different and chose to dine at Redwoods Grill. The appealing pictures on the menu may catch your eye, but sadly, they do not reflect the actual experience. The service was incredibly slow, with a half-hour wait just to get a drink. The salad bar had limited options of lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, and onions, although the sauces were tasty. Our starters took a long time to arrive, only to be followed quickly by our main courses. The chicken sausage starter was underwhelming, simply sausage in canned tomatoes. My main course, however, was surprisingly good - chicken in the same delicious sauce as the starter, served with jeweled rice. My partner's dish, chicken lamb with flatbread, resembled greasy kebabs from a local chip shop. To top it off, half of our order was given to another table, and the bill included charges for items we did not have. Knowing what we know now about the poor service, we would not return to Redwoods Grill.

I ordered a lentil soup which normally I would expect a standard not too exciting meal however the flavors and spices blew me away! It was wonderful I could have ate more and more my fiance was extremely impressed by his starter of chicken wings and the flat bread we shared due to the portion sizes and quality of the food we would deffo come back
