We called in to order and wait for food and the staff were really friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. We had a bit of a wait but the waiting area was clean and comfortable. Our food was decent but not amazing. The peshwari nan was excellent but the curries and dal were average. Nothing wrong with average though!
I ordered early in the evening on Thursday with my dad and stepmom, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We had been using the same Indian takeaway for 11 years, but recently started using this one and it is definitely the best. The staff are also very lovely and friendly.
This takeaway is simply the best! We have had other Indian takeaways and have been very good! However takeaway this has the edge. The garlic mushrooms on puri are to die for, the keena nann bread is soft and lite. The garlic pilu rice is literally and fluffy. And the main courses have always been plentiful and tasty.
Me and my girlfriend love this takeaway so much, we drive from Gateshead to Gosforth to collect it. Their banquet meal for £19.95 is outstanding value and lasts us at least two days. And most importantly, the food is stunning. One of the best.
