Andy's Fish Chip Shop - Newcastle

I visited this restaurant a few years back and was disappointed by their fish and chips. At that time, it was run by people from Macedonia. I recently returned to find that it is now managed by a Chinese team. It appears to be quite popular with the locals. While the food is still good, my experience felt quite similar to my last visit.

The family package, priced at $28, offers some of the largest traditional fish and chips around, enough to easily satisfy two hungry adults and a few small children.

Overall, it was a pretty great experience. The food met my expectations, with generous portions and excellent prices. The staff was also fantastic. There was just a minor issue with my last order, as two potato scallops were missing. Apart from that, everything was top-notch.

It sees new owners new management, tried scalop and cocktail, delicious and crispy. You also have real sea scallop, fantastic.

We’re just moved to this area. Tried fish and chips here as its only walk distance from us. Surprisingly, very good fish chips. Fast service great price!! Will definitely be back again.
