Hamburger Haven - Newcastle

Oh noooooo this wonderful eatery is CLOSING SOOt operating since 1975 in Newy its unique and nothing else like it. Food is always fab & staff courteous. I as MANY other workers will miss the iconic place. New development is taking place on this site therefore pushing the tenants out. I hope that HH finds a gr8 new place 2 continue on its fab food

I go to Hamburger Haven a couple of times per week for lunch. Great food. Good value. Great service. My favourites are BLT pies chips cheese burger. Yum.

Staff so friendly, food cheap and great quality. Open till early hours of the morning... hamburgers, chips, various fast food items. Occasionally has music performers, pianos available to play if you wish. Love it here.

Walking up hunter street after an old boys reunion. Classic case of I just need a late night hamburger like in the old days. This place is a gem.

Don't be fooled by the cover. The ladies on staff were very friendly and the hot chips and gravy were excellent. Clean cooking oil, firm chip on the outside and soft on the inside. Cooked to perfection. Gravy was very tasty, nice and think and not salty. Down side was I should have asked for a bigger serve. My partner and I finished them too quickly.
