The Grain Thai - Newcastle

I must mention the drinks—$5 for a Coke served in a large, beautifully crafted glass that holds around 600 ml, adorned with lovely edible Thai flowers and a slice of pineapple. The presentation was a perfect 10/10! I enjoyed every moment at The Chalk and would wholeheartedly recommend it to all Thai cuisine lovers. I plan to visit regularly and try every dish on the menu. I hope everyone enjoys their experience there as much as I did. Cheers and a big thank you to the staff at The Chalk; I had a wonderful time!

The drinks here are pretty fantastic, and their presentation really makes me feel like I’m back in Thailand. The food is excellent, and the prices match the quality you receive. Located in the heart of Beaumont Road, it's definitely worth stopping by for their lunch specials if you're in the area during midday. The staff is consistently polite and courteous, and in my experience, the service has always been quite prompt.

We had a wonderful dinner with family. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be coming back!

By far the best Thai I have ever had. Their pad Thai is so amazing it’s put me off every other Thai place. 110% recommend!!!
