Union Chicken - Newmarket

Nice little place in the mall. Clean, with distance and overall a good layout and style. It was simple and cozy. The staff were ready to serve and attentive. They were busy, but it did not weaken the level of the service. It was our first time here. Positive are good portions, and food came in a reasonable time. Negative and probably it was a free day) the food was not beaten to the brand. The quality of the ingredients was there, but not the execution. For example, the house iced tea was too mad. Our children ordered each of their own, but couldn't come by a few sips. I tried it too, and it was just not paleable. The chicken strips and sandwiches were boiled to the point above, you can taste the over boiled near burnt flour on the coating. The dredging/coating is very thick, so if it over fried will keep this burt taste easy. Coleslaw was too salty and Pommes had no spice, but perhaps by design for the Pommes, so I will give them that). Geröstete Brusselsprossen were probably the best we got. We didn't eat all the foods, but the staff was gracious to take us some quality tablets. I give him 3 stars, but I'm sure they're a 4 stars on most days. If you enjoy this kind of kitchen, it could be your alley.

Wonderful lunch with my son. The atmosphere was fun and cool. We were welcome when we came in and sat at a great table. Lyris, our server, was amazing. The food was delicious. We just wanted a fried Korean chicken, but there is not in the area so there was an attempt and it was good. Although we didn't have to wait long, the chicken was nicely crispy and moist inside. The part was huge so that we were not finished, and the service was good, definitely again!

Excellent time in the Union. Enter the Small Cool Market in the Mall, there are various restaurants, bakeries to choose from. Union was my choice for the day I believed a juicy crispy chicken. They delivered! Very satisfactory and will be back again.

So good the Nashville lightning hot chicken was so spicy I loved it so much, it got me sweating and the coleslaw was a perfect way to cool it down. Food was 100% amazing but we went an hour before a raptors game and we?re struggling to get the bill in time, they may need to lay on more wait staff
