Koh-i-noor - Newport

We ordered a meal from here on Friday night, it was superb! I have eaten in this restaurant a couple of times before have not been able to fault the food so decided to order a delivery meal from here. The food came on time, hot when it arrived and it was lovely.

Visited late on Friday night after a night out, the service was very quick and impressive and the food was good and wholesome. It was a good price and with good portions. We will be visiting again.

I had a meal at this restaurant last night and it was absolutely outstanding. The curry was fantastic and there was plenty of it. It's great to see the place under new management. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to others.

I've not been to this restaurant for a few years, but heard it was taken over by new management and thought I'd give it a go, and I was glad I did, the staff where perlite friendly and made us feel very welcome, now the most important what was the meal like, first class, I had a vindaloo curry, the gravy was perfect right thickness full of flavour and heat, I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is our second visit here within the last few months and on both visits the food has been excellent. Friendly and great service here. It's a lot brighter now since the new owners have taken it on. We had a lamb rogan and a welsh chilli curry and both were excellent with decent sized portions. Half and half rice and chips were also plentyfull. The Peshawari naan was the best ever, nice and crispy and loads of flavour. Although the front of house has been tastefully decorated, the toilets let them down. They are clean but quite tatty with broken toilet roll dispenser which could be brought up to scratch quite easily with a small cost giving a big improvement. Unfortunately it is sometimes an area sadly neglected by many restaurants. The passageway to the toilets was cluttered and untidy and this could quickly and easily be rectified giving a better customer experience. We will definitely return as we had a lovely meal and a very good experience overall here.
