Quarters Coffee - Newport

I stumbled upon this charming little spot near the east end of the footbridge while exploring Newport the other day. It offers a fantastic view, especially on a sunny day.

The coffee is fantastic, the food is delicious, but what really stands out is the amazing staff. It's a wonderful spot to relax with friends or to get some work done while enjoying the complimentary WiFi.

Jack and esther are fab host, very friendly and accommodating. the location is a place, with magnificent views of the river, the pedestrian bridge and the friars walk. the coffee is perhaps the best in South Wales thanks to northstar roast. the wlan is strong, fast and free. the cakes/berries are baked for perfection. the brunch menu is amazing, especially the bbq sweet potato and chorizo bake my new comfort food!

Shows the best place to eat and a cup coffee in newport. the only special coffee shop in newport, beautiful interieur, beautiful people and ideal location. the employees are so real and try to have a chat or still create that they feel welcome even when they are rambled. it is a wonderful family business and it is not surprising that they have so many masters. my favourite place in newport and I always recommend it here.

I just fell in for brunch and it was brilliant. great coffee and pancakes. friendly baristas and arcade fire play in the background. and great location on the river and the pedestrian bridge. will certainly be back
