Gurney's Newport Resort The Lounge Fire Pit

The hostess must have been having a bad day because she was crabby. Service was slow.

We had a reservation. here for almost a month. there was no possibility to specify inside or outside seats in our reservation. we called ahead and said our reservation was guaranteed outside when we arrived, they told us they couldn't sit outside and we had our puppies with us. They took us to the house, but it was stuffed in a corner and we couldn't let the dog sit on our lap. In addition, it is covid and we did not feel comfortable eating inside. the host was rude and said that she could not do anything to help.

Terrible experience! terrible service do not go here. I have reserved a month for the fire pits. they claimed we hadn't had to call a fire pit so we couldn't sit there, although 3 were open. the people we were dealing with were extremely rude, we have never been treated as in our lives. zero stars disgusting service.

Great eating! amazing location and our server was great! followed Kovid guidelines.

Very disappointing. Went there and was ignored for 30+ minutes after receiving a drink. It was not busy at the time so didn’t understand that. Didn’t order food, had to go find server to ask for the check. Don’t recommend if you aren’t staying at the hotel.
