Marina Grille - Newport

The restaurant wasn’t open but took reservations on this app. So we drove to the restaurant to find a pitch black dark lot. Completely ruined dinner plans for the weekend. Incredibly frustrating.

This was our first meal out post-covid 19 closure. Marina Grille did a great job making us feel comfortable and safe during our dinner. My meal (pesto shrimp) was absolutely delicious and the seating next to the water on a beautiful evening was lovely.

It took 90 minutes for our food to come. When it arrived, no one in our party of five thought it was more than possibly acceptable. The waitress was inattentive and bored. Would not go again.

We picked this place for the review of the harbor which a massive boat was blocking. Menu was limited but food was very good. Server (DJ) was very personable.
