Scarpetta - Newport

Our waiter was the best I've ever had. And he is a pastry chef and my daughter is a baker and he was telling her that she does beautiful work (after showing him pics of her desserts) not only was he great but the food was phenomenal. The steak was so tender the mac and cheese was delicious. Would definitely go back for the great service, great food and gorgeous scenery.

First time visit. Had a great time and glad we picked for our anniversary dinner. Our server was hilarious and teased my husband about loving the salami bread. Felt safe with everyone wearing mask and gloves. We has roasted chicken and duck. Dinner portions were small but left room for dessert. Outdoor dining was not available due to rain.

It’s been a while since I have had a dinning experience that deserves this much kudos. Serdan was our server. He was informative, tentative and his menu suggestions were spot on. He was possibly the best waiter I have ever had. The food was amazing and the pasta cooked perfectly. We were a party of five and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Hygiene looks to be a top priority for Scarpetta and it’s staff. I will most certainly revisit whether it’s a romantic evening or a dinner with friends. We were also told the restaurant changes it menu name for the off season but no doubt it is as spectacular. Bravo.
