Overpriced and indelible. we ate here the first night when we were tired and it was comfortable. will not make this mistake again. we sat by a busboy who was too busy to shower or comb his hair. the server matt went around the only good thing at the place. he was super friendly. we had our 2 years old with us and she wanted milk that is on the menu. the chef sent out the server to tell us that they don't use it or even have it off site. well, sir maybe take it from the menu or buy it something. they have limited gluten-free option and it is a $24 steak dinner or a $16 salat with half chicken breast and brown salate. we saw the so-called chef smoking outside the building when we went back to our room to make the entire lobby stink. we did not even try the breakfast café in the shilo, as the dinner restaurant was so bad. I do not recommend this place definitiw. it is worth going a few blocks to the tap house or another restaurant for dinner.
We were in january on Saturday. we had three server for our group of 6 because two were trained. they were very friendly and attentive as we were the only party in the restaurant during most of our dinners.
We love this place, but we never ate here. simply visit the bar area. more place is slow, restaurant and bar, but perhaps it is the time of the day we go. linda the bartender is super beautiful and always accommodating. it is in a beautiful location and I know that the prospects are breathtaking in the daytime.
The place has a beautiful view with lots of seats by the window. It's open from 7 11 and we got there a little after 10 and there were still seats available with ocean view. There was only one waitress that we could see so it took a while for us to get seated and waited on. Another guy showed up after a while and eased her burden she was friendly and helpful when she could get to us. The special was 2 eggs, bacon/sausage/ham, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy for $12, with 20% discount which was definitely worth it. The food was good though my mother in law always complains that the gravy is never warm enough and it wasn't, though we asked that it be very hot. We enjoyed the meal, the view, and the occasion.
