Carl's Jr. - Newport Beach

I am currently out of state for work and without a car, so I wasn't able to use the drive-thru. I asked an employee if they could take just one more order, and Maria kindly let me in. She was very professional, and as a restaurant manager myself, I was really impressed by her. She definitely deserves five stars!

The coffee was great, and the biscuit with egg and cheese was tasty as well. It was a convenient stop for an early trip to the airport.

It's a burger joint that doesn't pull any punches and isn't afraid to be what it is. Food is decent quality, drinks are huge and service is entirely appropriate.

Worst customer service at any Carl's junior that I have ever experienced!! I went inside and ordered at the counter and the young lady that helped me could not be less interested in what I wanted. She acted more like a robot than listening to what Iwanted to order. I ordered a famous star combo with with no onions, cheese, and a bottle of water. She kept insisting that Ineeded to have a cup And I said no I want a bottle of water. Plus with her very thick accent and mask it was extremely hardit's extremely hard to understand what she was saying. They really should teach their employees how to be cordial.

This Carl's Jr. location is superior to the one on Michelson and Culver based on my experiences. Overall, it's a typical Carl's Jr., and I believe there are better food options out there when considering the value for the price. However, if you do decide to order from here, you can ask for your burger to be well-done, and sometimes they offer A1 sauce during certain promotional periods. When you make those modifications, the burger turns out to be quite decent. You can also get a simple Big Cheeseburger that ends up tasting pretty great.
