Starbucks Coffee - Newport Beach

Went on 8/2 and it looked like they were not only closed...but possibly moving out?

Short staffed, so long wait. Barista was working their tail off. Felt sorry for them. Call aheads were arruvung and still waiting. Guve yourself plenty of time if you are heading for a flight.

Not my cup of tea or should have said cup of coffee for the price you pay. McDonald's coffee is as good and a lot cheaper. Just my opinion

I have visited this Starbucks before work and always get friendly service until today 02/05/2020. Today was my day to pick up Starbucks for the office. I placed my order and everything was fine until my drinks came out and I got an hot drink instead of a cold one. When I told the barista her face had ATTITUDE all over she grabbed the hot drink and threw it in the trash without saying a word to me. She remade the drink but threw a fit the whole time and made sure I saw her. Then she just slides the drink over to me. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! I tried to get her name but did not see a nametag on her. However, She was young and had a ponytail but she clearly has long hair. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE!!!

I visit this location at least twice a week! The staff is fantastic, especially Julia, who always greets everyone the moment they walk through the door with a cheerful "Welcome to Starbucks!" She never fails to wish me a good day, and I’m pretty sure everyone else receives the same warm greeting! Thank you all for your great service and for making my iced matcha latte just right!
