Nawab Indian Cuisine - Newport News

Been on the road the last few days and was looking for something other than the typical fast food and everyday sit down chains. Came across Nawab and decided to check it out. So glad that we did. Everything tasted amazing! Even the beer was so smooth and delicious that we had to take a pic hoping to find it when we get back home to FL. It is not a fast paced restaurant but the payoff is worth it!!! The food is so fresh and flavorful that it just melts in your mouth. It was the best Indian food that we’ve had in years! Probably since our travels in India. Thank you Nawab!!

Wow, what a great dining experience! The food was delicious and very fresh and the owner was so nice and helpful. They have a plethora of super tasty vegan and vegetarian options and you can customize most dishes to be vegan or vegetarian. The gobhi manchurian (cauliflower bites) were so flavorful and fresh and I would totally recommend them as a vegan appetizer.

Not only was the food excellent and made from scratch, the service was excellent. It was the first time my boyfriend's mom had ever tried Indian food and they really took it as an opportunity to impress her. Great menu suggestions and we even had leftovers. Definitely order plenty of garlic naan with your meal! We WILL be back!

The food was delicious. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Nawabi Biryani as our entrees. I also had a house salad and we ordered the garlic Naan. For dessert we shared the sampler. The service was superb and the atmosphere was outstanding. We'll definitely dine there again in the near future.

Nawab was the first (East) Indian cuisine I had ever experienced...and I am so glad! Delicious savory authentic Indian flavors that cause you to fall in love with your first bite. Beautifully decorated, clean restaurant, wonderfully pleasant staff, outstanding food. What more could you ask for!
