The pizza was delicious. The staff where very friendly. And being from Italian extraction, they are very passionate about their good. A must try.
I recently discovered Malocca's, a long-standing takeout restaurant. My first visit was spontaneous when I found myself nearby during dinner time. The line was short, and I ordered cod and chips for £7.50, which I thought was a bit pricey compared to London's standards. The staff didn't interact much with customers, and the cod was thinner than I had hoped. The batter held up well on the journey home, and the chips were tasty. However, I prefer the quality and size of the cod at Harry Ramsden's in Manchester. I don't plan on returning to Malocca's, as I'd rather visit Pit Stop in Kilkeel for a better value sit-down meal.
The crispy fish and freshly cut chips at Malacca's takeaway are absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and there is a welcoming atmosphere every time you walk in. I have never been disappointed when dining here.
The meal had some highlights, like the tasty chippy chips and flavorful black gravy. However, the southern fried chicken was overcooked to the point of being inedible. It was so terrible that I had to throw it away, as I couldn't even salvage the meat for my dog. Malocca should feel ashamed for serving such low-quality food. I won't be coming back to this restaurant after this disappointing experience. It was completely unacceptable.
Crispy fish and chips. Delicious. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere every time you walk into this establishment. Never disappointed when enjoying takeout from Malaca.
