Comedor - Newton

The locals might refer to this as a small plates restaurant, but I wouldn't consider four ribs to be small. While it's not quite the size you'd find at the Cheesecake Factory, in 99% of the world, this would be an entrée portion, so don't go overboard. We ordered four dishes for two hungry adults and still had leftovers to take home. The food was enjoyable, and the cocktails and specialty beers were even better. I would suggest skipping dessert, though.

I had dinner at the bar, and Kevin, the bartender, was outstanding. The milk punch cocktail was incredible! Each dish we ordered was perfectly cooked and packed with a wide range of flavors. I will definitely be returning soon!

Food was great, fast service. Cocktails list while short ... all great... We had them all. Really really enjoyed.

Perfect for a date night, but be sure to make a reservation! I'm eager to try their cocktail making class on Monday nights. In the meantime, their small, inventive, and tasty dishes will keep me satisfied. Just a heads up, sharing can be a challenge because my only complaint is that I always want more!

Comedor is a fantastic spot for small dishes and nice drinks. Their cocktail and (limited) draft selection are really excellent. The tremendous service is also something to be noted. I'll definitely be back here on weekends to see if any newplates are on the menu!
