We stumbled across this cute place when visiting for a wedding. Great nostalgic place with great food and service!

Something is wrong with their tipping process and some of the kids that work there do not get their tips. Not sure who is pocketing them but hopes things change with this new management. I will update my review if so. As for food, its ok, yes an old staple of a restaurant but not cheap. Just watch tipping big for you may think you are tipping your waiter/waitress but really they may not see a dime of it. Its just sad.

Being originally from Marshalltown, I was skeptical about eating here but I have to say, it was very good, dare I say better than Marshalltown's Maid-rites. The place was very clean too.
