Virtuous Teas - Newton

This is the perfect place to purchase tea—not the kind that's packaged in paper with a string, but the loose variety where you can choose from dozens (or maybe even hundreds?) of options. They offer everything from black tea and rooibos to green tea, white tea, oolong, chai, decaf, and more. I typically buy three to four selections in one-ounce bags, and they last me for months.

This is genuinely one of the few authentic tea shops in the Boston area. While they primarily operate online now, they still offer the same selection of products.

The tea selection here is fantastic, featuring a diverse array from around the globe, including strong organic options and some unique blends inspired by local flavors. I can't wait to visit again soon!

Wow. I have saved this place as a want to visit and finally got around to doing so. At this time, they are only completing online orders and pick up orders. I did the latter; I did some research online to see what types of teas they had as well as what sounded good to me. I tried about 1oz for 7 types of tea and have tried a few and am extremely happy with the quality and taste. If you 're unsure of how to properly prepare the tea, they have instructions on their website, or they are super friendly and can answer any questions you have. n nParking can be tricky, but they do have a spot in the plaza. There 's also street parking, which may be easier depending on the direction you 're coming from.
