Nefeli Greek Restaurant - Newtown

I knew I was onto a good thing when I first called to make a reservation and the staff member on the line was so **** nice, even checking to see if it was my first time to the restaurant. We were unsure about wines and we were allowed to sample the open bottles. The serving portions are HUGE which is extremely good value for the price. A serving plate of desserts was offered including my favourite; galaktoboureko, but we were just too full to eat any more

The food here was exceptional. It's one of the top Greek restaurants in the area. The service was laid-back, not overly attentive but not neglectful either. Our favorites were the meze plate and the slow-roasted lamb - truly amazing!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant had a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere and all the dishes were superb.

The restaurant has excellent cuisine, attractive decor, and friendly staff and owner.

Very good, authentic Greek food, warm, welcoming and friendly service, well priced, we enjoyed our special occasion there and definitely recommend.
