Neko Neko - Newtown

Really happy to stumble across Neko Neko; the vegan menu items were extensive and most importantly, DELICIOUS! We got the Potato Croquette Curry, and the Superfood Agedashi Tofu Eggplant Set which were both delicious and extremely filling. The presentation of the dishes were also spectacular and gorgeously done, so appetising! We paid about $50 for two people (no drinks). It was quite busy on a Tuesday night so we had to wait a while for our food, but we didn't mind thanks to the nice vibes and beautiful decor of the little restaurant. Would definitely come again to try their ramen!

This restaurant offers either pescetarian or vegan dishes. All ramen are vegan and there are different options for broth and toppings. We enjoyed the diversity and the colorfulness of the ramen dishes. The noodles seemed house-made, they were slightly chewy and flat. The restaurant is small, but nevertheless seems to fit a lot of people.

We loved our visit at neko neko! We’ve tried many different ramen, even before turning vegan. And hands down this is the best ramen I’ve ever had and it’s vegan! I had the neko neko ramen with gluten free noodles and forgot halfway through my meal that I ordered gluten free. You couldn’t even tell. I loved the little vegan beef bits and the flavor of the stock was perfect. Will try and go there again asap! Oh I also highly recommend the vegan bean croquettes and vegan dumplings which we had for starters! Updated from previous review on 2021 05 11

Love the curry and ramen. Cute ambient restaurant great for date night!

Got the spicy ramen and it did not disappoint! The starters we got were delicious too and will be coming back!
