Yes king street has come and go many restaurants, and when it comes to certain kitchen, there are many stalwarts that have been long, long time, and are still very popular (hello, happy chef sometimes it is nice to try something new, what I did at this place. Finally a good Chinese restaurant in newtown as expat of hk is my favorite Chinese restaurant in sydney the golden century, but it is from my price class. I heard a rumor that the chief of gc cooks in old streets newtown. I went to the lunch special today and was not disappointed. I had hawn chow my and my partner had bark meat and black bean, both delicious and authentic. I recommend this place, ps service was fast and staff was very polite.
