Persian Restaurant Broil - Newtown

We had a great meal here. the food was delicious - fresh and very tasty. My husband and I are vegetarians and we had good options. My elderly mother was particularly impressed with the chicken wings which she said were very fresh in taste, flavorsome and the best she'd ever had. The waiter was helpful and very willing to please. It's just a little cafe and we were surprised by the quality of the food. It was very good value for money.

Ordered online through Menulog – don't bother with these guys... they take your money and cancel your order, no explanations. Then they stop answering their phone so even Menulog can't get a response. Usual wait for days for a refund. These places shouldn't be in business

My friends and I went to newtown for a night out but before we grabbed our first drink we decided to have something to eat. We looked at the menu outside and everything looked so delicious. We walked in and asked for a table for 4 people. The waiter said to us ( Sorry the chef is tired, we can't have you here) I have never heard of such a horrible excuse. It was revolting and I will never go back to this place. I will never recommend it to anyone. The chef needs to retire or the owner needs to close the restaurant down.
