Misenos Family - Newville

Not impressed. Inside of restaurant left a lot to be desired. Only had a few slices of pizza but it was so dismally bad that I would not give it a second chance. Smelled like air freshener, seemed dirty. Servers were nice though. Not sure if they serve other foods in the morning? The place is packed at breakfast time- not sure if those are 3rd shift people getting pizza or if they different menu at that time.

I am fortunate enough to have visited this establishment when it was under previous management. I have to admit I do not really remember the taste of the food from back then, but the one thing I do remember is that the service was super duper friendly, and it still is. Of course, in all fairness my friend grew up (from birth) in Newville, and so literally everyone knows him. The food was very decent. I got the prime rib special, which came with 2 sides. I got the side salad and the fries. Their battered fries was delicious. I am a sucker for battered fries. The salad was decent and fresh with the dressing served on the side in a little plastic container. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately overly salty for my taste. The portions were generous, and the prices decent. The atmosphere is laid back and everyone is very friendly. It is packed on a Sunday after church and many tables get lovely sunlight through the windows.

Good food and great prices. I love the country setting. Service has always been fast and friendly.
