La Dame au Cerf is a lovely tea room in the centre of Nice. Lots of choices for a tea room : lunch and cakes. Close at 6 on week days so no diner but my fav lunch place at Nice

Feels like home, loved the place, great to spend a bit of time, cool decoration and shop, delicious homemade food. super staff.

We took a panini. The bread was very hard and there were very few things in it (a few rounds/lamelles of vegetables and 1 piece or 2 of simili), very few sauce (a spoon I would say) and very little cheese (1 or 2 small pieces that it had to look.) it was very dry and I didn't even finish it. on the other hand, this place de-conceivates veganism by combining esotericism. there was the day we went the author of a book that dealt with voyance/divination and it was shocking to see those who had moved for an autograph, who looked at her like a guru. We won't go back to this place anymore, there's a lot better to nice. Very welcoming place and products of very good quality. I went to the carot cake straight out of the oven a delight accompanied by a coffee offered by the manager. very friendly and passionate manager as well as his wife and very open to dialogues
