Le Festival de la Moule - Nice

We were thinking to order a bucket of mussels like everybody around us, but after the look at the menu, we figured it is much better to order a mixed plate as the price was same but we got jumbo shrimps, mussels, and calamari at ones. It was pretty big too. My husband, the mussels lover, said that those were the tastiest mussels he ever had. The wine was very nice, service polite and pleasant.

Very lovely place. We ordered set of mussels and prawns (rice and tomato sous were included). Was very fresh and delisious! Also, we tried very tasty pizza Reine. We were full and happy. The bill was 33 EUR only for two persons. In addition, we got a super nice service. Don't miss this amazing place!

This restaurant is right on top of the parking garage. As soon as you come up the stairs you are there. We had curry, Provençal and garlic mussels. Hands down garlic was the best. This was not an all you can eat special, according to the waiter it used to be when they were using Spanish mussels and frozen fries. French fries are handcut and just great by themselves !!Must try !!

We have spent the last two weeks traveling through the South of France and have eaten at some really nice restaurants. Le Festival De La Moule is hands down at the top of our list for great food and service. Thank you Marius for you warm welcome knowledgable service and for your great sense of humour. Our meal was divine, Chef Silvano outdid himself. A must for anyone visiting Nice!

Mussels was the only thing good about this restaurant. My husband and I ordered mussels with white sauce and gambas sautees. Mussels was good. However, gambas sautees was average. We also ordered beignets calamares for appetizer, which was expensive for its price. And the calamares looked like store-bought frozen calamares, and the serving was small. The servers were friendly though.
