The coffee makes a very welcoming impression and convinces with a great ambience that is saved by very nice conditions. The menu for coffee and tea is rich. When choosing the cakes there is something for everyone. And the tomato soup is the hammer! My wife had taken the tomato soup instead of cake and was totally enthusiastic!!! The cake was also great! To the coffee cabinet at Café Kranz. Just a few hundred meters from the Baltic Sea you will find the Cafe Kranz in the Niesgrau. Most people would pass the B199 from Gelting to Flensburg, but whoever was there would like to return. In the past, the house was a department store, after extensive renovation work you will find five guest rooms in the old walls. The special thing: The operators Gabriele and Lutz-Henning Walter have furnished each room in a different style, but all together are the coziness. There is a tile oven that produces heat, especially in autumn and winter. In beautiful weather you can also sit outside, but then just sit by a few bushes separated from the B199. The cars are unfortunately very good to hear. The cakes come from their own kitchen and are very delicious. There is an extensive beverage card with many different tea and coffee specialities. The service is very fast and very friendly (here the boss also serves himself). You feel comfortable and welcome. If boredom should come, there are many board games. Or look at the collection of old coffee cans. In any case, it is also worth a trip to the Gelting bay until the beach is not even a kilometre.
