Mardy's - NIGHTCLIFF

The sandwiches are decent, but the paninis are not authentic. However, the desserts are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the chocolate tart.

Set in a shopping mall with screaming kids and noisy shoppers this place at least does decent coffee...cappucinos. Creamy, frothy and they do de caf. The cake was not bad but the token 3 teeny dots of fake cream was a bit of a joke. You obviously have to go to Melbourne to see cake done at its best with coulis drizzle and the option of cream(King Island) or icecream on the side. At least the cake was moist and tasty. The muffin would have been nicer slightly warm but it too was passable. Service was pleasant.

This breakfast was a very nice one, served with bacon and tomato. Probably the nicest in Darwin for a very reasonable price. Service was friendly. Read the newspaper, provided and enjoyed a nice coffee afterwards. I will come again. They also do nice sandwiches and cakes, other sorts of drinks. Thanks Mardy.

Mardy's is a no-frills establishment with reasonable prices for food and service. It's one of the rare places in Darwin where I don't feel like I've been overcharged. While the quality may not be top-notch, they do serve a decent cup of coffee, and the staff always greet you with a smile. For that reason, I will definitely be returning.

The coffee at this restaurant is excellent. The service is prompt and friendly, and they offer a variety of delicious cakes and other treats. The restaurant is conveniently located in the middle of a well-air conditioned shopping mall near K-Mart, but it is not too noisy.
