Asked for Paella with no onions or garlic, for two people. It came with onions and garlic. Croquettes de pollo were deep-fried and soggy. Brought me a ‘complimentary’ breaded chicken breast which I had said ‘no thanks’ to when they offered. It arrived also saturated in fat. Asked for a drink: 1/4 glass of beer with bottle of sprite …. They brought me a full glass of beer. For sure, they’re here to capture passing trade but not trying to build a regular client base …. But, if fish is your thing …. Then maybe this could be your thing ….
We were welcomed pleasantly but it was downhill from then on. We asked if the house wine was dry, it really wasn’t and was barely drinkable. We ordered a fish paella which was truly awful , totally dry tuna and tasteless rice... the staff knew we were not happy and studiously ignored us. One of our worst restaurant experiences in the many years I have travelled to Spain. At least they didn’t charge us for the paella. AVOID
Though not quite as bad as some have found, it was pretty mediocre we only went because it was actually open on a February lunchtime. Wines are marked up too much and the service was really chaotic. With this great position at the beginning of the marina area, this place feels like it’s become rather lazy and complacent. Nearby places like Mediterraneo and Quatros Nudos are in a different league in fact several leagues better for about the same overall price.
