Pizzeria Mozza Mercato - Niles

The pizza here is so delicious. Requesting some extra topping on it was no problem. Also the waiters were very attentive and always ready, but also discreet. The one guy told me most of the staff comes from a high-class rooftop restaurant which closed before. And that's exactly how it feels. Good trained waiters who know how to serve food and drinks professionally and elegant. I will come back for sure.

The quality of the products used for their dishes is great. The beef carpaccio’s meat is the best I have eaten in Manila so far. The chef sliced it really thin, that it literally melts on your tongue. Also the Italian cheese on top and the used olive oil was delicious. Also the pizza tasted like it came directly from Italy. They have a brick oven and again the all the toppings looked fresh. When ordering you can see how the chef starts to prepare it, because it is an open-kitchen style. The interior decoration also makes you feel like being in a real pizzeria. Having some quiet music in the background completes it, so you can stay there for 2 or 3 hours easily eating and drinking one of their many wine bottles.

I really enjoyed to eat their special Italian burger. The waiter told me that the beef and cheese is imported from Europe and I really could taste the differense. It was juicy and the cheese on it was so yummy. They also have hundred of different wine bottles in there restaurant which you can drink to pair your meal or take home. They also offered some special Italian bread as a free appetizer which was great, because the prices are affordable for such a western restaurant. Everything was very clean and the kitchen is open, so you can watch the chef when he is preparing the foods. Also the service was good and it felt like a true Italian restaurant (even I have never been to Italy).

Since my Filipina girlfriend ordered their seafood pizza she also likes Italian food now. They put some really big clams on it which tasted like they came directly from the sea, so I am happy we finally found a western restaurant which can cater both of us. Also they have a vast selection of wines, which are cheap compared to other locations where they serve imported European wines. You allso can buy many Italian ingredients from their market there to cook them at home by yourself.

Great Italian food! The closest to an authetic Italian cuisine I had here in Manila. The Pizzas (and pizza crust) are the best! There's a grocery too where you can shop authentic european ingredients. Highly recommended!
