The coffee is delicious, probably because they are particular about their roasting. I chose the cake set, but the gateau chocolat is recommended. There were comments mentioning the service, but I didn't particularly notice anything worth mentioning.
First of all, this restaurant is properly taking measures against COVID-19. It's a place where you can truly enjoy delicious coffee, so I highly recommend it to coffee lovers. The appearance is in the style of an old Japanese house and the number of seats inside is limited, but the view from the window is full of nature and it's wonderful. The side of the window where you can see Mt. Yotei is designed like a photo frame, allowing you to capture the entire view of Mt. Yotei in one frame, making it a great photo spot. Inside the restaurant, there are various types of coffee available, and the characteristics of each coffee are clearly explained, making it easy to choose your favorite. Additionally, after placing an order, they provide you with a "coffee book" to read, containing information that goes deeper than commonly known knowledge (it's so deep that the book is thick haha), showing that this restaurant is truly dedicated to coffee. The lightly roasted, acidic coffee reminds you that "coffee is a fruit." Although I usually prefer the strong and bitter Mandheling coffee, I decided to try both the lightly roasted and dark roasted coffees as they seemed to pair well with the fruity acidity amidst the natural scenery.
I like coffee with less acidity, so I asked the staff and tried Lintong Mandheling and Tadela Estate. Lintong Mandheling was described as having less acidity but with bitterness. When I tried it, it felt slightly lukewarm but the bitterness was well-balanced and enjoyable. After the Lintong Mandheling, I ordered the Tadela Estate which was said to have less acidity. It was clearly hotter than before, maybe they were adjusting the temperature slightly based on the beans. Even though I'm not knowledgeable about coffee beans, I could still taste the difference in flavor and aroma. The orange cheesecake had a subtle cheesiness but a rich flavor with the bitter accent from the orange peel adding a delicate taste. The milk ice cream served on the side was crunchy and sherbet-like, refreshing and smooth. The restaurant had two tables for four and two tables for two, with a counter facing a large window with three chairs lined up. The view was obstructed by power lines but it was a relaxing atmosphere. As soon as you walked in, there were cat-themed items and even the shop's mugs had a cat logo, making it a delightful place for cat lovers.
