The haters will say it’s false but this place is great. Top tier banh mi and spring rolls, and the value is insane considering what food costs these days. I sampled spring rolls and banh mi from the two other viet restaurants in the area on the same day, Nom Nom was the clear winner (and not just because they give you two spring rolls for less than the price of one elsewhere). If I was a cruel man, I would gatekeep this place.
Oof. See a lot of great ratings for this place on here. Because of that I figured I would give it a try. By far the worst bahn mi I’ve ever had. And most likely the worse sandwich I’ve ever had. The pork bahn mi came out with a couple slices of deli pork that was gray. The bread was flavorless. Almost no veg on it. Not sure how this place has the rating it does.
I love this restaurant and am always greeted warmly by the owner! He always brightens my day. There are so many vegetarian options. A true Olympia gem!
This place has been around for as long as I’ve been in Olympia. I love them so much. Curry Tofu Bahn Mi is my favorite and their prices have stayed affordable throughout the pandemic. Always friendly and welcoming and they always play the funkiest music.
