Fords Lobster - Noank

During our trip to the shore, we were eager to try Ford's for lunch, and it was definitely the right decision! We started with the crab cake, which was delicious and a generous size. The bisque bomb exceeded our expectations—a half pound of lobster served in a bread bowl, with lobster bisque instead of butter! Incredible! The cold lobster roll was also tasty and perfectly sized. The restaurant has a beautiful location right by the water, and the staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

The lobster bomb is an absolute must-try for any lobster lover. It’s incredible and perfect for sharing. They truly do BYOB the right way by providing ice cream, glasses, and openers as needed. The restaurant is situated right by the water, adding to its New England charm. The Spinach Artichoke Dip is also a fantastic appetizer.

The food was extraordinary and the service was warm and welcoming. The New England clam chowder was superb, and we enjoyed every dish we tried. The lobster bombs and rolls were delightful and incredibly fresh. The ahi tuna was cooked to perfection, just like the black scallops. The presentation of the food was stunning—far exceeding what one might anticipate from an outdoor setting with plastic tables and chairs, which was a lovely surprise. The atmosphere was very laid back, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Although we live nearly two hours away, the journey is more than worth it!

Oh, man, this lobster roll is delicious! I could eat 2-3 lobster rolls. You should order the lobster roll with the lobster chowder on the top with a side of Clam Chowder. You won't regret it. So delicious! Very recommended!

Loved the atmosphere! It was a great place to sit on the dock and eat and watch the sunset. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer, which was delicious! Definitely had more dip than bread but we put it on our hot lobster rolls (you can have a lobster roll either hot or cold) and that was a game changer. It’s BYOB and we had to wait about an hour for a table but it’s right near a park on the water where we hung out as we waited.
