They always have a line, so that says something about the business if there's always a line! Good problem to have. Th was decent. Today, I ordered a side of curry goat chicken, a side of dark jerk chicken, and a large oxtails dinner w/ white rice and green beans. Let?s talk about it! The curry goat was well
It was my first time here today and I will definitely be going back to get more Caribbean groceries and beef patties. They also have fresh produce. I highly recommend you shop here. This is the spot for authentic Jamaican food and groceries. Everything is fresh and looks and tastes delicious. I can?t wait to go get more beef patties and try out some desserts tomorrow.
MP Island Cafe never disappoints! Every time I go I end up wanting the entire menu. They are fast in service and the food is 10/10. It?s about 10-30 per person depending on what you get but it?s worth in in my opinion. One of my favorite spots in the area!
I got the curry goat with rice and peas and cabbage. My son had the brown stew chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. My son and I also tried the sweet potato pie. The sweet potato pie was good. It was a little too sweet for me. I like sweet foods but not that sweet. My son loved it. What 3 year old wouldn't? The cabbage tasted like water and the goat was dry. I had to add seasoning to mines. My son's stew chicken was good and his cabbage tasted like water. We love the
Curry chicken was raw...I prefer meat well done (no pink/red). I have been here a few times and the same resort. As seen in other reviews, the food use to be better cooked years ago. Some people may like their meat under cooked, but most do not.
