Hardworking individuals who recognize regulars and treat staff like family. There 's even a wall with the employees ' faces on it to meet the staff. You feel like you 're home when you 're here, from the friendly servers to the mismatched wooden chairs and tables. It 's intimate and inviting. Courtney 's is known for its chicken and noodles but this time I opted for the tenderloin which has great seasoning and a good crispiness. From here, the Square is walkable so you could eat and then explore the antique shops, etc. around town.
This was a delightful find! Total Comfort food in a cute, homey, cafe. Everyone was friendly and the menu had so many choices. I had the petite tenderloin, a smaller pork tenderloin sandwich. You can get it breaded or grilled. They have gluten free buns available too! You can get lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, pickle on the sandwich. And you get a choice of side; healthy choices like cottage cheese, small salad plus the regular choices, veggies, salad, potato salad or fries. It 's just a little off of the square in downtown Noblesville. But it 's worth the walk and when we went there was no wait. Score!
My wife and I visited the restaurant late afternoon on a Saturday. Definitely had a diner, home-y feel. The waitress who served us was VERY nice and welcoming. That said, neither of us were really blown away by our food. Based on all the good reviews, I got the breaded tenderloin, but I felt like it had too much of a peppery taste to the breading. Some people may like it, but just was not my preference. My wife had a bacon chicken wrap, and was not the biggest fan of hers either. The fries were good and fresh, and they were bottomless with the meal, so that is a definite plus. Overall, it was a good experience.
Courtney's is such a good mom pap joint. A lot of good home cooking and desserts. When you want a good home cooked meal feel, go here!
I've worked in Noblesville for six years and this is the first time I've been here! Shame on me! (Also shame on me for digging into my fries before snapping an appropriate meal photo! My coworkers and I came here for lunch on a Wednesday. They have been raving about it, but we always tried to go when it was closed (on Mondays . Each of us ordered the same thing: petite breaded tenderloin and fries. Wow. So delicious! One of the best tenderloins I've ever eaten, and their fresh cut fries are very good! Definitely worthy of a 5 star review. They also had homemade cookies for $1, but we decided to pass this time. I definitely won't next time. They looked so yummy!
