We loved the relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the $10 tapas which were generous portions and very tasty. $5 wine and stone and wood beers from 5-6pm were great value. Main meals were all very flavoursome and desserts were scrumptious. Mark and Paula's hospitality made us feel very welcome and Mark's acoustic guitar and vocals made the night exceptionally enjoyable. I would recommend the NAC to locals and visitors.
Friends asked us to have lunch with them at this laid back restaurant today. Easy parking was nice for a start. Staff were most pleasant and helpful...and the decor is very relaxed. The tapas style of lunch menu suited us well, as many things on the menu looked good. So we all chose dishes and shared them. There were 2 people requiring GF at the table..so lovely to just order anything and we could all share. We all particularly liked the calamari and the buffalo wings. Our friends assured us it was even better in the evening with the dinner menu. We'll go back for sure.
We even bought their bread to take back to our beach condo. Had the delish paleo bowl for breakfast and the quiche.
Went looking for the Deli Cafe as my wife had enjoyed the gluten free options previously, couldn't find the sign but went into the same site and it is now called The NAC (Noosa Arts Centre). Same gluten free options are available but a few good options like Moreton Bay bugs were wonderful - generous serving of 3 bugs for only $20
Dining out as a Ceoliac always has its challenges, however the 100% gluten free menu here is incredible. Just ate Buffalo wings, Morrocan Lamb and Lamb Souvlaki....so beautiful. Friendly staff and great food and of course gluten free beer. Non Coeliacs will love it too.
