Steckerlfisch, Spare Ribs & Co

We were there in autumn 16 more often and had super eaten.But this year everything is different!We were there 14 days ago and got all the bad food and the staff was very unfriendly.Can happen once, therefore we were unfortunately the same picture a few days ago before ortaber – feed the lowest quality the portions smaller and the staff irritated and totally unfriendly.We were the last time here.

Awful! We tried spare ribs, chicken wings and the Steckerlfisch! The worst food me an my family had for many years. Everything industrially pre-cooked (except the fish) and really poor presentation! Avoid at any cost!

I have seen this place over the last couple of years and have been intrigued. Very modern, attractive place right on the edge of town of Trausdorf, and just a few miles south of Eisenstadt. Steckerlfischlgrill literally means fish (mackerel) skewered on a stick and...grilled over an open charcoal flame. I understand that the fish come fresh from nearby Lake Neuseidler, and they are crusted with Hungarian paprika. Wow. Beautiful plate. I've uploaded a picture of my plate. Simple and beautiful as well as tasty. This is a seasonal place. Looks like it is closed from end of October and reopens of April. Makes sense, because much of the seating is open air and has a rolling shade cover for rain if needed. We saw lots of people with families eating here. Looks like they have a good children's menu. I think there is a small play area for children as well. Since we were adults, didn't pay that much attention. We had a great time here.
