Marienhoehe - Norderney

I can't say anything about food here because we just came for coffee and cake. I love this place to be here for donkey years, he represents a childhood memory, we came for pancakes as children with my grandmother, then with my...parents and own first child and now with my wider young family. It is just a must at least once when in Norderney: the view in any weather from there, the beautiful way it is built in a round form, the delicious cakes and ice cream. We were with a few kids and after they had eaten, they simply took a football to the side of the field below, so we had a bit when time to chat. If nothing else, this place is an experience. We came here Sunday night to see the sunset. As soon as we sat on the terrace, one of the very nice waitresses came to bring the menu. Whenever someone took care of us and asked if we were satisfied with everything....Perfect service! The salad with crabs I had was a decent portion and absolutely fresh and delicious. You also have a good selection of wine and the waiters here can definitely recommend something from your last. I definitely come back.

Marienhöhe was saved by a German design investor who owns some of the places in the area and until now. We had drinks and once dinner there, all excellent. Enjoy the view and the newly renovated interior of this historic place.
