After a long night on the Rhine and after the breakfast buffet in the hotel was finished, we were looking for a good breakfast close by. Thanks to the positive reviews, we came up with the saffrans and were immediately impressed by positiw. rich buffet, well visited, rustic local, nice service, all fresh and tasty.

Saffrans is a quiet little restaurant in pempelfort district. a rustic local bistro with dark wood paneling tables, seats, parquet floor. quaint cozy decor. friendly staff, moderate prices. when i had dinner for 2 at saffrans we selected rhenan and mediterranean dishes in the simple menu : turkey breast salad, meat loaf, veggies gratin, wiener schnitzel, sabayon. and drank schlösser old beer. cozy!

We find that it was better and more whistled - modern kitchen with normal decor - for our taste something too expensive for ambiente and the quality - we will surely return again!
