Horse N' Carriage Restaurant - Norfolk

The Horse and Carriage is a great family restaurant. It does not have the notoriety or ambiance of some chains like Davies or the Capital Grill. What it offers is good food served by a friendly staff at reasonable prices. The Prime Rib was tender and delicious, the swordfish was great as well. This local gem is great for families and friends who enjoy good food.

We had a great meal with very generous portions. My girlfriend loved the Swordfish Piccata and I thought the Prime Rib was great. Our waitress was very nice with just the perfect balance of attentiveness.

First time back since COVID (we have been doing take out here for a while! Amazed by the safety protocols in place. All servers have masks, disinfecting tables, booth separators, etc Food was excellent as usual! We will be back soon!!

I haven’t been there in a while so I thought I’d try it again. Food was very salty and prices went way up. Staff was wonderful though.

We dine here regularly and know its a very high quality restaurant from experience so we brought our vising family her. As usual didn't disappoint. They loved it. They own a 5 star restaurant so are very good judge of a restaurant. Food and service excellent as always.
