Bowling Club Bistro - NORFOLK ISLAND

The food was delicious, especially the schnitzel. The prices were on the higher side due to the location. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable. However, having wifi available is important to me and not having it is a deal breaker.

Good and local fresh produce. It is located in the main street with the best bar in town with friendly both kitchen and bar staff.

We arrived about 12 30 ordered 1 serve of Fish Chips 50 minuets later we received Luke warm chips and 2 good size pieces if fish that has been kept under a grill the outer was so dry would not recommend

The bowlo bistro was great. It serves lovely bistro type meals, some of which have local ingredients. Over the number of the times we dined there our group sampled most of the menu. A big thumbs up to the Santo Chicken, which was chicken breast stuffed with prunes, pine nuts and cheese, served with salad and chips. Yum! Steaks were also pretty good. Schnitzels were super! Thanks to the staff at the bistro and bar for providing great service in a friendly environment.

I enjoyed the atmosphere at the club and the service was great but I ordered the seafood basket which was ordinary the crumbed prawns were still cold in the middle. The fish was good. Wife had the Parma but was not the best also. Will give it another try on my next visit as many people I spoke to enjoyed their meal.
