Joel's Cafe - NORFOLK ISLAND

On our recent stay at the Cumberland, we had breakfast here a number of times and were so glad we did. Betty and her husband are extremely hard working delightful people who welcomed us heartily each day and dished up all our meals with a smile,good food,good coffees and mochas,and our only pity was there was no room to enjoy any of the delicious looking cakes,muffins and slices on offer. A wave and smile from these two every day was a bonus!

Recommended to us and certainly not disappointed, we had lunch and chose the the fish, so beautifully cooked and presented and so fresh, and certainly not over priced,very pleasant sitting on the deck at the rear of the restaurant

We had 2 Good quality well located lunches here on our recent trip, including a glass of wine from a good drinks list both times. Not the cheapest place for lunch, but worth a visit if you like quality food and wine.

This place looked nothing from the outside but once inside you could walk through and site amid the pine and palms. It was lovely. Service and food beyond reproach. We kept going back for lunch. Sadly not open in the evenings.

Best omelette ever! Fresh local mushrooms, local bacon and eggs. Lovely little café with great food and service and Hummingbird Cake to die for! Well....maybe not to die for....but great! We dined here several times for breakfast and lunch. The owners are a lovely young couple who make you feel very welcome.
