80/20 Burger - Norfolk

This was a sadly disappointing experience for my wife and I. We ordered takeout and every element of the meal was not worth the $43 we spent. Fries were soggy within 10 minutes and the burgers were probably the worst burgers we 've ordered in a long time. The food and service were quite satisfactory. The menu offers a nice selection of burgers with some inventive takes on the classic options. They have a range of local and regional beers on tap, in addition to the usual selections available in cans and bottles. Overall, the prices are reasonably modest for a boutique burger spot. While there are some pricier items on the menu, you'll also find plenty of everyday affordable choices. At 80/20 Burger Bar, there's something to please every palate.

The best burger I've enjoyed in a long time! I ordered the Loose Screw while my husband tried the Junk Drawer. He opted for fresh-cut French fries with border seasoning, and I chose my new favorite: fresh beets with tzatziki. Everything was incredibly delicious! The cooks here truly aim to impress, and they succeed. The owners prioritize locally sourced ingredients, and the beef in the burgers is outstanding! The bar has a relaxed atmosphere and is very reasonably priced, plus the staff are friendly. Our bartender was fantastic!

My fiancé and I recently relocated to Norfolk about a month ago, and we decided to explore a new restaurant. I can confidently say that 80/20 Burger Bar exceeded our expectations! We were very pleased with both the prices and the quality of the food, and our server, Ally, was fantastic. Coming from Wisconsin, we felt a bit of a nostalgic vibe that reminded us of home, even here in Virginia. The atmosphere was pleasant and offered a unique charm that we truly appreciated. We will definitely be returning!

The food is fantastic! Don’t pay attention to the naysayers. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the wait is definitely worth it. There are too many people out there who are too impatient to enjoy the experience.
