Famous Uncle Al's Hotdogs - Norfolk

He made a quick stop for a quick bite and the brother got us some dogs and left. I enjoyed my very thorough, because I like all kinds of treats on mine. They were delicious and crisp and fast. Inside people were nice and cool.

I received food that I didn't order. My burger had a hair in it, and I had to send the hot dog back because they forgot the chili. When I explained everything, I felt like I was being blamed for the mistakes, even for items I never ordered, while the staff member just smiled as if I was joking. I definitely will not be coming back.

Very friendly hard work and only a very great restaurant

Famous Uncle Al's on military Hwy Update 09-15-2022 My previous experience was so good, I had to go back! Previously, hot dogs were of lower priority for me. I don't necessarily bless them and I never had a favorite hot dog before Famous Uncle Al's Hot Dogs Grille introduced me to the San Antonio Dog. It is the only Famous Al's location that serves them. And it's delicious! We speak a hot dog mixed with chili with Cheddar cheese, bacon, onion and jalapenos. Don't worry. The Jalapenos give him a light kick, but it's not really sharp and that's good. I also have the fresh cuts and the very tasty Al's Cheeseburger with double meat this time. I recommend the military Hwy location of Famous Uncle Al's! The hot dog was so good, I ordered another one! (9-11-2022) On 1269 North Military Hwy in Norfolk, famous Uncle Al's Hot Dogs gave me a delicious Al's Cheeseburger and a delicious Virginia Beach Chili Cheese Dog. Don't worry. The hot dog even has this slight snap. The fries kick off! Both the burger and the chili dog were made sincere and not made like a fast food place. It has a sports atmosphere vibe with the cook very knowledgeable while wearing a jersey. Very recommended for Hot Dog, Burger and at this point Sportfans!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, but my most recent visit left me quite disappointed. I entered the restaurant, which had only about six other patrons at the time, and sat at my table for ten minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. The two staff members appeared more focused on socializing with the other guests than attending to me. Eventually, I decided to leave after making a 25-minute drive to get there, as I didn't want to waste any more time waiting. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 11 years, I understand if it's busy and you can't get to everyone right away, but with so few customers in the restaurant, I expected a little more attention.
