Istanbul Gyro Kebab - Norfolk

Great place for an authentic Turkish meal! Once you get in, your happy welcomes from an employee in the store. He is also Turkish from Istanbul. Note, Restaurant name Istanbul Gyro and Kebab! It's not just a coincidence! Lol Now on food, I ordered the lamb and beef plate with a side collecting salad. I have provided the menu in the pictures. Meals are also there. The meal came from the grill in no time, maybe 5 minutes. I had also rolled an appetizer of wrapped grape leaves in rice and spices. The aromas melt perfectly together in my mouth. It was a moment when you just want to chew slowly and enjoy the picky leaves aromas on the rice. The Greek salad was so fresh I saw around the shop to find the gardener! The salad vegetables were crisp and seasoned with blue cheese and sauce. Very refreshing! The lamb and beef plate also came to perfection with rice. Lamb and beef. back to Istanbul and Antalya, Turkey from previous visits. So, if you are looking for good authentic Turkish cuisine, don't look further than Istanbul Gyro and Kebab. Come for food, stay for the kindness and great attitude of the staff!

Your lamb and beef/wrap is so good that we eat dinner in complete silence. That's not enough! The service was so friendly and friendly, we definitely found our favorite local business. We are happy to go back!

I have had Istanbul Gyro before, but it was a couple years ago and it was takeout. I had some time today, so I walked over for lunch and it was wonderful. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and personable. I got the gyro combo, which was so delicious. It came with a canned drink and chips. I also got a cup of the lentil soup. It wasn't to my taste, but it was still very good. I also got a Turkish coffee, which was delicious, and I got some baklava to take with me. The baklava is delicious and I love that it's got pistachios in, rather than the walnuts I've had in other baklava. I'll certainly be coming back for more!
