Feedback gevenVery nice upscale restaurant. Food was delicious. Our waiter James was fabulous, he told us about the special and drinks available. It was my first time visiting but my sister n law and husband had been a couple time before. Once you order they bring hushpuppies out and they are yummy. I had the shrimp and grits, delicious ???? we will be back when we visit again.
So I had the seared tuna for an appetizer and the crab stuffed salmon with fingerling potatoes and risotto. The tuna was fresh and tasty but it was cut a bit thicker than I'd like but that's a minor issue. The salmon and the potatoes and risotto was all cooked perfectly, my only complaint is that it was all under seasoned and a bit underwhelming. The inside and atmosphere was very modern and chic. Not a bad experience, just the food needed a bit more love.
Food is good and consistent for the most part. The reason I give three stars is because service will vary. I have visited and had servers that are are somewhat rude and/or not attentive even when it isn?t busy. Other times I have had amazing servers. All and all I like this place but training for servers needs serious work to have consistency across the board.
The atmosphere is very nice, but I expected that atmosphere to translate into superb food. While it wasn't bad, my chicken was super dry and I got I could have counted my fries. I was too hungry for that limited fry arrangement. Anyway, it was a slow day, so maybe they weren't on top of their game.
My friend took me out to dinner after a rough week. When we entered the place looked gorgeous. We were seated immediately as she made reservations. However, our waitress took a rather long time to arrive and greet us. Then we asked her about drink recommendations and got nothing. So we guessed and placed appetizer orders. She took very long in between to take our main entree orders. The waitress stated that the flounder was a special of the day. My friend and her daughter
