Taco Bell - Norfolk

The service was excellent, and the young lady at the drive-thru was friendly and cheerful. My burrito was delightful.

I understand that everyone has off days, but he was notably rude, which was upsetting. He was loudly gossiping with a coworker, had an AirPod in his ear, and became irritated when I reminded him that my drinks were supposed to be without ice. When I asked for his name, he rolled his eyes again and shut the window in my face. I ordered through the mobile app, so I can't leave a private survey for Taco Bell; I even tried calling but just got a fax tone. I recognize that customer service can be tough right now, and as a former Taco Bell employee myself, I empathize. Still, this behavior was completely unnecessary.

In my opinion, this Taco Bell sets the standard for the entire franchise. I visit frequently, as it's conveniently located near my home, and I've noticed that the staff recognize regular customers. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure everyone, both familiar faces and newcomers, feels welcomed and appreciated.

Great location. Speedy service. Friendly staff. The cleanliness of the dining room is notable. Was in here twice today, first in the morning for breakfast, then many hours later for dinner and both times there was a consistent kept up appearance. This is not to be taken for granted. A lot of locations just don't the importance of these details.
