The Fishin' Pig - Norfolk

The service at this restaurant was excellent. Most of the food was delicious, but I would not recommend the ribs - they were dry, tasteless, and overcooked. However, when I asked for a replacement, I received a tasty burger. Overall, my family enjoyed the experience and we are planning to come back. As for parking, we were fortunate to find a spot nearby, but others had to search for several minutes or park a block or more away.

I ordered the pulled chicken platter with mac and cheese and hush puppies. The chicken was chopped, not pulled, and the flavor of the BBQ sauce overwhelmed any potential flavors of the chicken. The mac and cheese lacked real flavor and was served in a plastic bowl, which was disappointing. It was odd to see plastic silverware in a restaurant that primarily serves seafood. The hush puppies, however, were enjoyable. I recommend that the restaurant focus on sustainability to ensure they can continue to offer fish on their menu. Parking can be a challenge when the restaurant is busy.

Great job yesterday, Rob, Joe, and crew. It's not easy to accommodate 30-40 people on a bar crawl, but you guys consistently rock and roll. Quick, efficient, and delicious. Thank you for helping us out yesterday!

Absolutely Delicious!!!! We ordered Grady’s Smoke Shack Sampler and Billy’s Seafood Platter and both were yummy. The seafood was super fresh and flavorful and the other meats were juicy and delectable. The hush puppies were my absolute favorite. We will definitely be going back.Parking: A little hard to find parking near the restaurant. You may have to walk a little, but the food is worth it!
