It was tasty, but it felt like it was missing something. The glaze was a bit too sweet, and the whole basil leaves were not the easiest to enjoy with the other ingredients. Nonetheless, it was still enjoyable. For my main course, I opted for the Shrimp Christiana. This dish was abundant with seafood and featured perfectly cooked shrimp tossed in a white wine sauce over pasta. Surprisingly, I didn’t get any sauce on myself as I dug into the scallops, crab meat, and shrimp. No deveining issues here; they were prepared exceptionally well. A few pieces of tomato, garlic, and capers rounded out the dish, making it very tasty and delicious. The waiter seemed disappointed that I didn’t indulge in dessert, but he provided excellent service and even refilled my soda without me noticing it was empty. Well done, sir!
I give this place a 2 star. This would probably be my first and last time I dine here. The reason for my review is because of my overall experience. My girlfriends and I came here as a group of 7. As soon as we sat down there was no warm welcome of hello ... or what can I get you or the simple question of have you dined with us before? Our waitress Susan/Sharon was went straight to taking our order. She took our main entree first and then our drinks and appetizers last which I found to be VERY odd. I ordered the Fried green tomato caprese and the Shrimp Christina. Both were very bland. I was a bit disappointed. I also ordered the Titos dirty martini in which I ended up returning. Our waitress gave me the hardest time about returning my drink. She commented Are you sure you want to return that? and then she constantly throughout the night reminded me of how expensive that drink was!! Do you need to remind me and as well humiliate me in front of everyone dining in that night?? I have never been treated this way at any restaurant that I 've dined at. I would not recommend this place at all.
Every time I 'm in town I make it a point to eat here for dinner. Some of the best Italian food I 've ever had. I 've never had a bad meal. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the caliber of food you 're getting. I had the seafood cannelloni with their signature pancetta vodka sauce tonight. Every bite was amazing! I ended up mopping up the remaining sauce with their delicious garlic knots, earning the clean plate award for my table. I definitely recommend eating here, you can 't go wrong!
Servers were smoking in front of the restaurant prior to opening. We arrived a little early, no problem. Smoking servers made sure to let us know they don 't open a minute before 5pm. They opened the doors a few minutes past 5pm and seated us at a tiny table in the window in a completely empty restaurant. Service was mediocre at best. Pasta is not made in-house. (Server said that would add like 20 hours to the chef 's schedule ahm, it 's an Italian restaurant and you were serving a limited restaurant week menu when we dined. Don 't be lazy. Update: The business owner, Shannon M., responded to my feedback re: hand-made pasta. In doing so she stated that it was clear I 've never worked in the restaurant industry. Not only is that incorrect but I was raised in the industry. $25.00 for dinner should yield a dish made from scratch. There are people who make pasta that you can purchase. I can make Barilla at home.
I had been craving seafood linguine for quite a while and finally got my fix. My meal was wonderful and I would eat it again 1000 times over. Awesome job!
