Varia - Norfolk

Eating was terrible. we ordered a Burrata salad and the cheese was frozen.

Came to the hilton for my high-time week. on the last day of our stay we had a great meal in varia. from wein to dessert and the ambiente was all delicious. can not wait to come back and enjoy another wonderful meal!

Service was wonderful on New Years Eve, the food was amazing for the prefix options but slow due to the amount of people dinning. I would definitely go back on a calmer evening and would love to try their happy hour.

I think there was a very busy New Year event. The only reason I believe the service suffered was because they were overwhelmed. People arrived late for their reservations. They really tried hard to serve everyone in a timely manner. The food was spectacular and everyone was really polite. I think they are 5 star, but it was a very busy night.

This was supposed to be an elegant evening for New Years Eve. After waiting for over 45 minutes to even be acknowledged by a server, only because we informed a manager, were we even served. I understand the lack of available employees at the present time, but this is the second event that I have attended at the Main and have been very underwhelmed. I have decided that the Main is not a hotel that is capable of handling large crowds and festive holidays. I will give Varia a second chance, just not on a holiday or busy night.
